Our painter has been to look at the car now, and was well impressed with the chassis etc (and he's painted some quality show and race cars like Steve Niemantis's Roadrunner and Aston Martin, and John Hendy's ARRC built 57) the chassis is due to go in for painting begining of Nov, then the body should follow after being remounted around the begining of Dec, then its the slog to tin it, wire it, make new windows etc, build and install motor, hoping to test early july, ready for the nats, but it will not be coming out if it is not 100% finnished, more pics to follow when my dad gets back from spain with the camera

Trev, only reason it has A arms is thats how it came from the states, the chasis was built in 88 and never finished, we bought it 4 years ago with the 67 body on it, we've had the chassis tagged down at Frank Griffins, when he did the 4 link and its all molly and tagged to SFI 25.2 which is down to 6.00 with the right safety gear like twin chutes and fire systems, as it is (or will be) with single chute it is 7.50 legal, silly thing is if he wanted to run 6's in super pro the fire suit is around £300 quid to do it, in pro mod wiith the same car its £1000+, not that we want to run 6's

Yes RT its an F2r procharger, with water/methanol injection, its set up for pump gas at the moment and thats probably how were going to run it to start with, then if/when moneyallows we'll stepup to running methanol, as it is it should do 1150-1200 hp from what we've been told by SMRE and the supercharger store, it'd do around 1400 hp on methanol on a blow thru carb

Andy, George is a firm believer in pro chargers but my dads wanted one for a while, we very nearly went turbo, we had a very serious offer of sponsership from a massive turbo company, but the time scales and money we'd have to invest just made it a little bit too much for us unfortunately :( oh well, hoping to have the car out in 2009 but chances are it will now be 2010 but we'll see, we've found a company that do complete glass fronts and we'll be most likely having one of them off em, really cant wait to get this finnished and hit the track

now at was an ideal chassis to have my 70 runner body and a superbird kit on it, ;)
