If I can't fit all the engine under the hood it'll have to be a cowl as there are strict rules on scoops over here. Then there's the small problem of cars going under 12 have to be caged but you can't put a cage in a street car.......Plus you are limited on what size difference you have on front to back wheels

Think I'll keep this for cruising and get another project when I've got a house, plus I need a job, etc etc. And i've got to be attentive to the family!! Interesting views on subframe connectors. If you weld tubing between the front rails and back rails and don't touch the chassis pan that is ok. If you weld to the chassis pan it is not. Minitubs can be got away with if you make them factory looking....Dave's turbo LPG idea sounds fun though

Here's the most stoopid bit. You can pass your test and get straight in a Skyline/Lancer/Scooby or V8 anything on a P plate (newly qualified driver), with basic 3rd party cover. No wonder there are so many smashes.........Mod your old collector car to be safer, no! you can't! Even fitting seat belts in the rear needs a mod plate.....But i guess that one is sensible.

That was my motor of choice over there
well no a VF 2 door was but with a VG you get the benefit of the proper 6 with enough main bearings to keep the crank in place
and disk brakes
just my garage wasn't long enough
i like the 2 door better mind
Top motor
Turbo LPG
yes yes yes
its the modern way to hoon and with LPG you don't have to spend on reconfiguration to 7:1 compression 120 RON fuel nice
bang it all on
suggest a whopping big plenum Aussie speed 4 bbl manifold......need more space for LPG
weld up ya dissy
Impco or OHG (OHG copies are easier to get) gas carby
OHG over the hill gang ex Impco employees with a grudge produced a carb that out performs their last employers offering in many ways all over the age of 60 i belive.....which makes their carb a winner in my book...
rising rate regulator
filler behind the numberplate.....Holden HQ has numberplate on a spring borrow one of them
proper diarphragm powervalve N rods n jets gas carb none of this camping Gas stuff
off ya go
Turbos, well the aussie love a turbo and their engines are bigger than ours so finding a suitable sized wrecking yard one is easier than here.
check out the forced induction section on moparmarket for usful contacts regarding bits n bobs.
excellent
you will get hemi itice like you got 318 itcie
make things that should'nt go fast go fast
yay
