Theres a guy on DodgeCharger.com selling a new pair of M Thompsons for £100 even with the postage and customs it still would only work out less £200.
Depends on your lead time of course...
Rich.

Sounds good, but a size too big. I cant afford £350 for drag radials. Looks like i'll have to scour the small ads. Should have bought some of 'Fingers' early in the year, they were a bargain. Didn't realise the list price was so high.

Shipping prices have shot up. I have noticed this recently.

A parcel with a small cable in (weighed 2lb) cost me $75 shipped Fed Ex.

Fed ex are a bit more expensive, ups are quite cheap, but it depends who's shipping the bits, but ive found that customs in ups are a bit greedy, they put their own value on the stuff!
my bfg's cost $310, shipping $330 and tax 110 euro, so had them here for about 550 euro, they were £200 each from n/hants then ship, would have been about 700 euro!

UK customs screwed me on tax last year on some new tyres that I got v cheap from a private guy. They valued them on their retail market value! They dont do 'negotiate' either..

Yes, as Dave notes US shipping has really cut into the bargains that cheap dollars seem to offer.
Meantime, subject to them arriving I have a pair of Mickey Thompson drag radials due from a private sale :thumbright:

Well, a hardly used pair of MT Street Radials turned up this morning. The exact size I need and about a ton less than current list.
Just need some wheels now...
