I'll have to dig some out, then figure out how to use my scanner!!!

I had the selector rebuilt when I got it, all the shims were shot and someone had put them in the wrong way round :shock:
Never had a problem with the Z bar, actually when I sorted the shifter out it actually was a much nicer clutch than the Dart I had a few years later.

Don't have that problem with the Belv now Rich, the wipers now work \:D/

A friend of mine worked at Jaguar in Coventry at the time and he got some of the guys there to make up new shims and rebuild the shifter for me, I know Hurst in the States do a rebuild service but I know it ain't cheap.

Chris rebuilt the shifters on his 440 and 383 using Coca Cola cans.

The trick is remembering which ones go where.
