I'm going to bore you all now. :roll:
1. Yamaha FS1E (no pics).
2. Yamaha DT175MX (no pics).
3. Yamaha RD350LC YPVS (no pics).
4. Honda VFR750 (no pics).
5. Yamaha FZR1000RU EXUP (no pics).
6. Honda CBR900 Fireblade (looking for pics).
7. Suzuki GSXR750WT (no pics and no licence).
8. Honda CBR600FS (looking for pics).
9. Yamaha R1.
10. Yamaha YZF600 Thundercat (no pics).
11. Yamaha FZS600 Fazer (2000, no pics).
12. Yamaha FZS600 Fazer (2003, looking for pics).
13. Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer.
14. Yamaha FZ1 (current bike).

The R1 was the daddy back in '99. I've ridden more bikes than I could shake a stick at, but nothing out of the factory could touch it. 80mph first gear, wheelies at over 130mph, just about 180mph top speed, 0 - 60 faster than any production car on the planet. It had brakes and handling to match. The only time I could find a fault was when I raced it. :D

I have only owned 3 bikes and didn't have a license to ride any of them. But then again I didn't have a license to drive a car either until I was 20. ;)

The first one was a Royal Enfield 250 of (I think?) 1963 vintage? Roughly?
It had a unit engine/gearbox and I found out after i sold it that it was worth quite a bit of money for some reason.

Then I had a 1945 BSA Chopper (can't remember what engine it had) with a solid frame and forward foot controls. The chrome springers had been removed and the original springer forks put back on. I didn't have that long.

Then I got the 1958 AJS 350 single. Heavyweight sidecar frame. I was 17 or 18 by then and had started picking up a few skills so I made 15" extended forks for it from scratch and the idea was to get someone to rake the frame (I couldn't weld back then) and figure out how to mount the handlebars so they didn't hit the tank. I was trying to do something way beyond my skill level but you don't see the problems when you are young.

But then I started going out with women and it ended up under a plastic sheet in my parents garden for years before I sold it.

I lost all my own photos from my late teens when I divorced my first wife so only have this one of the AJS which my mother took of me and my little nephew after it had been standing "abandoned" in the garden for a couple of years. It was in a right state by then. :oops:

Two years later I bought the Oz Charger and the only times I have been on bikes since have been as a passenger.

ringo them pics will be givin ray the Bananarama! leaning it like that :shock: he cant lean his like that with the stabilisers on it, :D

Dunc, I never said I stayed on board. :lol:
One or two excursions into the gravel... :roll:

Actually, if you look closely, on the right side of the fairing, the lump that sticks out has scrape marks on it where it would regularly come into contact with the ground. On the left I shamfered the engine casing. Darn thing wouldn't lean any more than that. :D

Great pics Gringo, i have never been on a track a bike, me and another mate might do a track day next year (when i take my stabilizers off as Dunc Says ) ;) I have also never ridden anything newer than my 91 GSXR, Might just take Dunc with us let him ride my gixxer and i`ll tahe the TZR, see how quick he really is ;) Would love to try a new / ish R1 or simlar...Awesome =P~

Started 1965 James 75cc tank gear change still have the scars :D
Finished up on these with even more friggen scars :shock:
Anyone want some cheap leathers,gloves boots helmets.?

No Mo, it went in favour of the Duke.

Could not get it right to my mind. I wimped out cos it SHOULD have been a hard tail for the looks and style, but I went for a bit more practicality and used a Shovel frame. The result was the bike looked "fat" and high at the back and I lost heart. These bikes need to have that "chopper" triangle shape at the rear to look good. I did not like it so I bailed. Nice engine, though....
