[quote="Philth"]Sad news. Great show though! I've always thought that Reg looked a bit like me dad.
Hey my Dads name is Stanley reginald Rush and always reminds me of old Reg varney and just as cocky. Remember my mum telling him of for pinching her Bum"Stanley behave yourself you naughty boy"

It's a classic, just like Dad's Army, only lewder, and probably on a par with the Carry On's.
I luv 'em!

You are joking aren't you? They aren't even in the same ball park let alone the same league.
On The Buses was Bananarama!. I like the old 70's comedy stuff and the OTB series was absolute Pony compared to what else was about. I can't remember the name of the conductor that worked with Stan on the bus - tall skinny fella with grey harir, but I always wanted to see if I could break that massive nose with a 2x4.

I just found that sort of cocky chirpy geezah type of old brit humour extremely irritating. You have two blokes giving it large over the ladies tryin it on all the time. One is a short fat middle aged bloke and the other is a tall skinny bloke that looks like Gonzo on crack. Right pair o pullers them two (of each others more likely).
As you can guess, I am not an OTB fan - although I would give Olive one
