Blimey Rich, this looks serious! Very impressive, good work....just like meself - plenty-a-guages. I always wanted a guage to tell me if one of the other guages wasn't working

Pardon me ignorance but what are them connections on the oil filter flange fer, I never saw wanna them befor? I suppose they're fer an oil cooler ....but I'm sure Kev will clear it up

Thanks all,it dont half make those long cold nights worth it when you get some support.All Debs says is "what have you done??still looks the same to me".
The rad support is going to be a bolt in item,with the section removed it means you dont have to;
a)lift the engine up very high to get it in or out and,
b)Struggle to put eng and box in as one.
Also my rad is so huge(4 core C*d*ll*c) it will not fit between the frame rails so it goes infront of the rad support.Twin Mondeo (air-con) fans will mount where the rad should be.
The fans will be switched independantly so depending what the trans temp & oil temp guages are saying,will dictate which fan I switch on as the respective coolers are positioned one infront of each fan.And if the water temp guage says hot then both the fans will "get it"!!
Dave Mc,the 2 fittings you see are the flow and return to the oil cooler,the 2 braided lines you see on the passenger inner wing are far too long at the moment,but will(should) end up on the 2 said fittings.

1)Hi Mr Fryer,it will be on the road by April!!!!!!
2)Ivor,the ally cover is just that,it covers an ugly bulkhead conector.No wheeze I`m afraid.
3)Brian,those black(looking)things are in fact polished stainless tanks with a screw on top,they are meant to be an overflow (catch can)tank on a rod(?)
One will be used as such coz you need one to RWYB and the other will be a washer reservoir as its a street car.

Couple more bits of the old jig-saw.The headers look real nice,I just hope the coating is as heat resistant as the finish is good.we will see.
The axle is also ready to go now,with new shoes,cylinders,copper pipes and flexi hose.Just waiting for the conversion UJ to arrive.
