Raylles are SO heavy.

After using Welds on the race car, when you take off a "magnum" or any steel wheel you can really feel it.

Changing to Minilites would get rid of a lot of un-sprung weight :thumbright:

Do you need my post code? ;)

Sorted - we've made Dave's mind up for him.

Hmmm - I wonder if those 15x10's would go under my Cornet? Pete, you might be in a Dutch auction here... :D

I can do you some cheap 8" welds :thumbright:

If I get the Raylees there will be a set of Budgies going cheep ;)

Anyway, Adam, you are a polisher not a racer, why would you want wide wheels that were not "factory" ??? ;)

Just messin'

I've got a bit bored with the "pure stock" look Pete. I like the idea of bigger factory wheels - gives the car a tougher stance, but doesn't stray too far from stock.

I've already put 15x8's Rallyes on the back, and realised I could have gone a bit bigger. Still got the 14x6's on the front, so I planned to get 15x7's to replace them anyway. But Dave's set might just be the ticket...

Vultures? Us? :D

I can remember not so long ago when Jim swapped the rallye's off his roadrunner. As soon as we all got a sniff, we got our wrists roundly slapped for trying to (and I quote) 'filtch' his rallye's.

Still not averse to picking the scraps from a carcass.

I didn't want to be cheeky and ask Dave to sell them to me. :D

If one does not ask then one does not get.....I think Dave is a big, grown up, strapping lad who can look after himself...mind you - is Diane looking after the purse strings ????

Don't really like Minilites, I just think 1960's rally car. If it was me I'd be looking for another period after market wheel, Daisy mags or better yet, five spoke ET's...

Found a better photo.

For this to work I would need to sell;

The two 10x15 wheels + the two 8x15s for £650.
That would include the center caps, trim rings and nuts and would be sold as a complete set.

I would also be selling (are you watching Adam) two extra 10x15 wheels for £300 but these would be bare wheels with no center caps or trim.

That would almost cover the cost (short of £45) for the complete set of Minilites.
