dave for the power your makin, not takin the slash, cut the shafts to get the correct length and spline, have a tube collar made and slide it over the shaft V the cut joints and mig them together, clean the weld and then slide your sleeve over it weld the sleeve in place, job sorted , had this done on a pretty heavy 440 b body 11 sec car, its still goin strong,Dave999 wrote:did hausers make (get made) the axle shafts or shorten a set of aftermarket 9 inch for ya?
sorry i'm cluless when it comes to this kind of thing.
i have a mish mash of parts with wrong spline axle for centre and am collecting ideas on how to get it all together with the minimum of fuss.
