Come on guy's give Tony a break! He's been shafted for goodness knows how long into doing over time for bugger all. Hand's up who's never done something wrong at work? He without sin and all that!

When your a Postie the only real thing you can screw up on is the mail, and no one seems to tolerate that. So to go 17 years without a screw up is quite a feat! :thumbright:

Come on Tony, come and join us North Sea tiger's!

Hey Tony,
I'll get you some website's to contact tomorrow, mate! I dont work in Drilling but I work with them if ya know what I mean. Its a great way to start off on the oil Industry. Depending on your skills though there's other avenues to go down. There is other job's off-shore but they require you to orj on an Ad-hoc basic (like me) It sucks but generally the job is more interesting but you are tied to working in and around Aberdeen. In Drilling you can work anywhere in the Uk and you get your transport paid to whtever airport you need to fly from. get a job on a Semi Submersable Rig and you will follow it all over the world. One day you'll be heading off to a job in the North Sea and the next you'll be catching a flight to Trinidad! There's also job's on Platforms and you'll be working on the same Rig all the time, in the same fixed location.

There's loads to go on about, if your interested we can go into in in depth. I even have a very close lady friend who is high up in an Agency Company who can do all the leg work for ya!

Little wonder if postmen are reposting em!

Not a personal attack Tony - just a point of view from the customers side
Me too... thats why for posting anything worth anything or over 1900kg goes by courier

If you were ill why not just go to the doc and get a sick note... problem solved and no amount of workplace bullying gets over that piece of paper ????

Tony,
do yourself and them a favour, tell em to stuff the job mate, you won`t have anything to moan about and they can get in a polish bloke who will do what you do for half the money and no moan about doing half an hour extra for nowt.

Everyones a winner ;)

Hope you find my advice usefull and constructive :thumbright: :thumbright:

You can say what you want i don't mind honest ;) i just wanted to get it off my chest ;)

Yes i am partly wrong in what i did,i should have phoned in etc!!if they had answered the phone which they often don't late on a Saturday, it would have not been covered they would have just told me to post it back anyway.

I took a chance and it went wrong :x but I'm not going to feel guilty about it as i put in more than a full day,it was not my intention to upset any customers.

I will hang on until i find something else :x (if i don't get sacked)

Thanks for the info Andy ;) i will PM you mate.
