Also, Ford SA produced the XR6 Sierra which used the 3.0 Essex V6.

Rustler Backie or aussie VJ ute one and the same apart from perhaps interior and engine which in this case will have been a slant 6 I belive not the usual 245 or 265 hemi

Before Basil Green got into building his 302 V8 powered Perana Capri's (and let's not forget he also sold 302 V8 powered MkI Granada's as well), he did some tuning to the RSA Barracuda.

Should you also get the chance to watch 'Generation Kill', a tv series of the book about US Marines and the invasion of Iraq, you will find that old Falcons and Escorts were popular there.

A little Valiant Signet and you can see the South African mandated white and red reflectors..
