The NOS 1968 open face helmet arrived this morning from the States! I can't believe how heavy it is! Considering it's age, the lining is in good shape. Comparing the flake from the 1960's to todays products is quite interesting. They have certainly come on a long way.
This helmet is perfect for that true nostalgic look, or for that "bobber owner" that wants to look the part.

Here it is... If anyone is interested in this, let me know. I will be painting this soon. And it needs some resto work on the padding inside I am getting done.
This WILL NOT be a cheapie!

Thanks, but I doubt I will carry on posting pics of my painting here once I have moved. I will endevour to set up a webcam. Then it is up to those that want to view.....
If I am fortunate to have a Mopar in Canada, I will stay in the MMA. If not. I don't see the point.

Thanks mate! I just got in from flaking and 1st few coats of clear on this flamed one..... I am really considering keeping this one!
