Hmmmm... Sounds like he really is taking the wee now.

How are you supposed to get back from Manchester? Is he covering ALL expenses, being as it's his responsibility?
It's one thing helping each other out, particularly if it's a friend, but asking someone to drive from Ireland to Manchester? C'mon....
