he needs to send it back at his expense
and you pay him back.

in future just keep the email short....

Just knock em off balance by being extra nice, avoid any discussion about the listing or the merits of the product. They then don't tend to rant about the extra post and packing. People are more forgiving if they think they are up for a battle and you just agree in a general way with everything they say, and say ok send it back.

more words just gives them more to answer in the next mail...the more they say the more annoyed you get.....

a sense of jolly repartee must be fostered...its worth it just to avoid the greif

Not the only one

Just found a complete engine/gearbox (2 years looking for one together) for my YZ 426. Seller claimed engine was Good.

Only on receiving said engine, Bottom end worn, Incorrectly assembled clutch, Broken inner clutch basket and missing thrust washer.

All ebay did was say send it back and ill get a full refund, however chances are low of another full engine/gearbox coming along. Asked for For a partial refund towards fixing and ebay shafted me.

Ebay have sided with the seller and wont budge

left with a un needed credit card bill and useless engine

Hopefully Credit card company refund me in full

but on the off chance anyone up north want to deliver a good kickin to the fella.....................

Pete, I think this guy is trying it on. Just because he runs his own ebay shop and has 5396 feedback and you are new with only 0 feedback, he thinks that you'll just buckle under and take the light back at your expense. I agree with what's been said by others, try and resolve it amicably as your feedback rating is everything on the bay, last thing you want is negative when you're already at 0!!!

Personally, I would never buy anything from someone with 0 rating, however this guy did and it was his decision, so he should stick with it and shut up and get that buffer out!!!!
