Thanks for them pete,i,ve been trying to find the edition of the club call in cc,may89,lost my copy,been trying to get a back issue,was you in the club,? have we met?i .Remember that weekend at billing,rained non stop.

Yes i was in the Aussie club, i don`t think that we have crossed paths but now that i have changed shifts (from weekends to `normal` week shift) i may be able to attend some of the meets.
Most Billing events were wet ones as far as ican remember, just some werev wetter than others

While hunting through magazines for something else, I found the August, 2001 'Collectible Automobile' magazine (a US mag, Graham Rennie tends to have quite a few) and has a good article about the Aus Charger by Gavin Farmer.

A condensed version of his 'Hey Charger' book, effectively.

I've got most of the charger mags and photos from the old club as i was the tech adviser at the time. i will bring up to Santa pod at the Nat's wont get there until the Saturday night though see you all there

Last I heard Alan Cracknell still owned the car, it still doesn't have any rear seats in it as he never did get back in touch with me.

Both the VC's in those articles have been on ebag in the last few years. I tried to buy both of them but they were both being touted by the typical ebay 'fully restored' classic car seller. Thought it was a Charger and worth more than it really was. I made reasonalbe offers in the 1500-2k mark on each and was turned down.

I don't know where either of them ended up.

will you be at the Nat's i will be there Saturday night and Sunday and is there any of the outer mags you want i do have some of mine missing though
