My understanding was that the 50 series flowmasters were a lot quieter than the 'traditional' 40 series?

Well, like Dave, I made my own 3" system and used Warlock mufflers (though they look a little larger than Daves) and mine's really quite quiet, even when you rev it...but then I have been standing in the staging lanes for 30 odd years and listening to Grand Funk Railroad live, so there is a chance I'm a little hard of hearing.

BLIMEY IVOR :shock: If I ever run out of plates at home, can I use the underside of that to eat my dinner off?

grand funk what? good grief Ivor what a admission..anyway the boxes are silly 40"s so it was always going to be bonkers..i am a fan of the unusual so its the supertraps or maybe some custom chrome end can"s
