frimfeel have just relased idler supports, roller bering idler bush replacements
and a bolt on Sector shaft/ pitman arm roller bearing mount that is supposed to stop Kframe flex and sector wiggle.

pedders suspension in Aus have introduced offset upper control arm inserts in Uretane to give you much better castor. most previous were rubber and wore out at the thin bit far too fast.

Well done Pete your story is so similar to mine could not decide whether to rebuild the engine give a run at the Nats and then put her up for sale or to do a Kev and chop her up and parts the bits.
Nice to see it is up and running and you would be bored driving around the countryside in an old jag anyway. :thumbright:

Just watched your vid, sounds nice.. I did notice as i suspected that your front tubes dont tie in to the shock supports but in Geoff Hausers defence, the f.wells run very close to them. However, i still feel you could make some sort of support if you use your imagination.

Well the garage is built and water tight so i finally got the car out of storage and got on with doing the things i have been gobbing on about..First order of the day get it to run straight.... first job fit Caltracs and mono,s.....During the strip down find the shocks bent....this is stopping them from any movement, and possibly why the car started to take a tilt now and again...So a phone call to my old mentor and A bod guru and hopefully problem is solved ,well almost...

Blue advised me to mount the shock mounts towards the front .So the shocks will be on the front of the axle.Allowing the shock to move freely.I must admit i did not fancy cutting two slots in the brace, sort of defeats the purpose of it when its cut. So all fitted no dramas and no hammers needed...

Not a great shot Pedro, but you can see how I got around the back brace issue.
