Cheers guys!

We're taking a slight step back from racing for a while, we will still run the car in ss at York and odd other shows like the nats, we'll keep working away on the duster which isn't far off now, but we are only building that very tame to save parts, there will be a big for sale list coming up soon, 440's, trans', etc just working out everything that's to go,

Don't think I could run to 60 ft let alone the quarter recently Dave

but yes it would be great to see both cars running together, maybe even get Richard Berry involved in his fury have a 3 way shootout, maybe an idea for the nats for next year

Just noticed Marc, you havent got a hole (or two) in the hood under the scoop?
Are you gonna get busy with the jigsaw?

I posted this link before but thought I'd add it here as it's kinda relevant...

or you could just unscrew the carb studs a bit & slam the hood
Is it a fibreglass or ally scoop? Knowing Dean, it's from Kramers

ie $$$$$$$

Looks good in those pics Rob, i remember seeing it like that when it 1st came in, holes will be cut in the hood tomorow and the scoop re-fitted, we've removed the redline tyres and replaced them with Hoosier quick times on the back and new hankook's on the front on the American Racing TT's, The redlines will be for sale shortly if anyones interested. The steels should be back from painting shortly, Most issues are now sorted, the car drives nicely, pulls strong, stops straight, stays cool and we got it MOT'd yesterday so should be registered soon
The car will be at York this weekend which should be fun
Here's a brief spec, from what i know, will get a full spec as soon as i know it,
413 block, bored out to standard 426 bore, new 10-1 compression pistons, original Max Wedge heads (date code correct), date code correct cross ram, original carter afb carbs, re-built push button 727, 8 3/4 with 3.55 gears, it is an original 383 polara 500, with electric windows, power steering, power brakes (power steering and brakes removed), the electric windows are still fitted and work well, the heater works well,
More to come when i find it out

Marc, can you get a pic of the carbs without the air filters on?
I thought the MW engines I've seen with the fuel filters in the centre like that, have the later Edelbrock carbs instead of the original Carters
Just curious how you've got your filters routed if theyre the original carbs... unless theyre mounted round t'other way?!
PS What make & size are the redlines?
