Quite right about the beard I've insisted Simon shaves and finds a suit.
I even went looking for size 15 shoes for him yesterday !!

Excellent! Scary memories!
As for the suit, I went for my airport job in proper trousers, shoes and a tastefully patterned shirt, clean shaven, no earrings, with a file case full of my qualifications etc. 2nd interview was airside so it was work shirt and strides plus steel capped boots. Breezed it. A bloke came for an interview the other week in boardies, muscle shirt and thongs. Interview more or less terminated there and then. 1st impressions are everything as I'm sure you knew anyways!!!

No wonder they hoiked him out of the door a bit sharpish, who was he trying to impress!

Its very hard to find good shoes in my size,trainers aint as bad but still not easy,plus the expense
I do own a suit but the trousers dont fit anymore,i went to try on some trousers in town and even though they were the same size as the ones as the jeans i was wearing they were about 9 sizes to small
