Whats in a name?

the problem I have is they already have it insured as a 318. So I have to ring up and tell them its not a 318, but some other size. There is also a tickbox which says "the vehicle does not differ from manufactured specifications" or words to that effect. I've had these discussions before with insurers, if its a like for like of an engine which was offered in that car then they seem happy, if not they start getting grumpy, now I could lie and say Plymouth did a 400" in '68 but if you start lying to your insurers you might as well go the whole hog and pretend its still got the 318 in it.
The other approach I could take is say "I've replaced the motor with one same as a '72 model Fury would have had" which is what I did with a previous insurer when I had a 2.3 out of an FE Victor in a FD Victor (?19 extra on the premium for that)
I'd kinda like a 383 or 440 as thats "right" for the car anyway.
Its all smoke in the wind until I know what motor George has dug up for me anyway. if its a 400 I'll have it and talk my insurers round I guess.
