Just by way of an update and to prove that even us so called experts don't get it right every time, some of the panel repairs I've done on the Road Runner have sunk at the edges.

They have been caused where existing repairs have been made over the original paint, which being good sound minor repairs, I left well alone. The rest of the car was stripped back and even areas of bare steel have still revealed marks, so I've had to sand back again and reprime.

So, fingers crossed, I should be basecoating and lacquering on Friday...I'll take the camera.

Well, uncle Roger came along and helped me flat down the third prep session...cheers mate!. Well, I may have remembered my spray gun. but I forgot the camera, so here she is...sorry about the quality it's off my phone, but I'll shoot some better ones and post 'em. :)

Here we go, a couple of better pix, this is the finish straight out of the gun and I'm quite pleased. Now to bolt everything on, get it MOT'd and registered :)
