Off !
Got it very hot, lots of lateral, full on, sideways, downwards banging to try break the hold. Big hammer. Big bar. Big feet on it. Done.
Ref rubber/fluid - all coming off anyway. New lines, flexis, etc etc all round. Or at least thats the plan...
Made good prog this morning. Blue was right on prev thread by the way - the only way to get the brass fittings out is get commited, hacksaw the pipe off at the fitting and get a tight hex socket on there - spanner is useless, will just round off.
Thankyou all, as ever.
(Except Latil - 'just the other side to do' - was trying not to think about that....

Are you out there Morgan?
What type of Bendix caliper is it?
Ours are 4-pot, and Bob Harman (BHP in Watford) reckons they must be quite 'rare' as most he's come across are of the single piston variety.
Did you try getting new pistons or seals for them?

4 piston seals are made of unobtainium, even in the States

Sorry - delay in the wires. Not been out to garage.
Yes, they are 4-pot. No - seals seems OK so might go back on as is.
