Tony, I just bought Labyrinth for the Kids as it was one of my att time fav movies as a Kid and they love it too.
Canny deside a top three, I could only do a top ten so ill no bother. Apocalypse now, redux is in the top three for sure though! Pulp Fiction and trainspotting also make an apperence as does Full Metal Jacket.

Fargo
No Country for Old Men
Red Rock West
Hadn't heard of Red Rock West Adam but after reading the synopsis I've just bought it on Ebay for 3 quid
I hope you enjoy it Jem - it's a dark comedy thriller in the style of the Coen brothers (who directed the other 2 films I picked). Nick Cage plays his usual one dimensional self, but in this one it actually works - he's a hapless foil for the chaos that follows him. Look out for a cameo by Dwight Yoakam: "Does that tickle?". Dennis Hopper steals the show though.
Thought David Lynch would have been in there somewhere Blue? 2001 eh - didn't see that one coming.
Well you said three, so I chose the one's that affected me most when I first saw them. If you had said top five, Wild at heart, Eraserhead and Buffalo 66 would have have been in there. Red rock west has a great first half but I think it totally runs out of steam after that.
