my mate who's building the chassis is also the main man for building and plumbing turbo's, this is his little 380ci SBC, it runs great.
My new 400 inch W8 will have a bigger turbo than this thing and a load more electronics

I like the grille idea. Imagine a Dart with twin turbos sticking out where the inside spot lamps are. How cool would that be! Your doing the wrong car Andy!

Nah James the Dart is the perfect street car, plus the cage is mild steel and to get it certified to go really fast would cost more than starting from the ground up with a purpose designed vehicle, I have a plan for tweety I also, but one thing at a time

Hello Trev' how's things mate?
This one gets the W8 stroker lump, remember that crazy stuff we got at Ritter's place
And while I think of it a fellow MMA member, Dave M who has that wicked 68 'Protouring' cuda has emabarked on the HotRod 'Power-tour', he left Thrusday after getting that D1S procharger fitted to his engine, they dyno'd it last week, a lovely simple unit I had here.
Are you sitting down- 650HP AT THE WHEELS, pump gas, with 26 degrees of timing at 5500 RPM. NO INTERCOOLER, just water injection and a Carb shop carb, he was sensible and built a 9:1 CR motor with a blower cam and it works great, not a trace of detonation.
This equates to around 800HP at the crank, he's got a Tremec 5 speed in it and we're both agreed that the gearboxs and the clutch won't last very long.
He says the car is almost undrivable, when the blower kicks, my thoughts are with him on this epic journey

sounds like fun , have you got any further with the super cooler idea , that would work a treat and be verry compact , so then you could build the convertible as a sleeper with 1000hp
