I went for body colour for the same reason as Adrian...

Don't forget that according to EEC regulation, you can still use solvent based paints such as cellulose for for classic car restoration, you don't have to use two pack or waterbornes.

Though two pack is best under there John, for durability reasons.

Tried some yellow I bought from halfrauds
And looks good-
think I will end up tossing a coin..........

I did mine 20 years ago and although its got a good few chips and scratches on it, still makes a clean and easy environment to work on

Ok chaps,thanks very much for input and pics-have now gone for a dark grey std car colour which I can buy off the shelf,looks good against the body and won't show any burnout rubber
