Strange to think we'll be down there on Sunday for the London to Brighton run, 28 years later! This was last year, before the rest of them arrived. I wonder if any Mopars have attended both events.

Brilliant pics Adam, the Aussie Charger is interesting, not seen another photo of one in red and white like that so I don't know whose car it is (was). I do wonder if my Challenger is in that line up some where, it was probably metallic blue about that time, or even white.

Great photos!!!! Just think, most of the cars in the pics were only 10-15 years old when they were taken....same age my old Peugeot 406 is now

Good Photo's........ 8-)

I was only 1 1/2 to 2 when that first photo was taken at Brighton.............

What year was the MMA first started then??

Considering the time elapsed, recessions etc i find it quite amazing that a small club like this has managed to get through it all.
Its outlived many other clubs that had bigger numbers (even Woolworths and Clintons).............

Just goes to show what a close and capable community we have here, long may it live!!! :thumbright:

I used to own the black 70 Charger, DGC 33X, had wolfies and white band tyres then, sold it in 93/94 about a year after buying the 68 that I have now, I sold it to a guy in Dijon France, he drove it home with no problems.

Keep the picturers coming. :thumbright: That's my old 1968 coronet 440, DMT 899V. It was green when I bought back in 1988 I paid £230 in Belgium I put the two scoops on the bonnet and a charger dash in it. Sold it to a bloke called Armet for £500. He tried to trade me the coronet and £2400 for his supperbird, I didn't have £24 let alone £2400 Another miss I bought a Dodge Dart GTS for the money instead.
The AAR was Al Falkener's I still have the 340 T/A engine out of it.

Great pics, it got me wondering though, there's been a lot of scanned pics from various events/race tracks, however i've not see my Charger in any of the pictures posted,
It was red i believe back in the day, i changed the reg to an aged related plate, so i'm now racking my brain for the reg it had before, i know it was on a P plate
