Yes it was Pete that reminded me that it was the same car that Stuart brought in with the red 68 Hemi Bee that Alan Carrington now has, and the Pro Street 65 Coronet (subsequently raced by Steve Neimantis and now owned by Donny in Sussex).
Pete took me for a hair rising ride round Barnes one rainy day in the late 80's in the Pro Street 65. I was more interested in the Hemi Bee, but couldn't quite raise the £12k Stuart wanted!

I just remembered where I'd seen Gavin before, the guy that won the 'Best Non-Mopar' (or whatever it was, that's my rough guess

) award at Brooklands, with his Camaro...
He used to own that gorgeous blue Demon that did the rounds a few years ago, which was also a regular at Brooklands. He won top award at the Nats with the Demon too IIRC...
I knew I'd spoken to him before but just couldnt place him till it came to me yesterday

I remember speaking to him when he had that Demon. Loved that car.

That Camaro was absolutely spotless, once of the finest accurate restos I've ever seen and a credit to the guy.

I think he got the Classic American award at Wheels Day so it should be on their stand at the NEC in November

It won a trophy at Wheels Day too. Very well deserved.
