Not the same without fellow countryman Joey Dunlop, he was the King.
You may need an interpreter here though

Used to watch him at the North West 200 road race in N. Ireland in the 70s/80s

Micheal Dunlop riding like man possessed today, a few of the top runners where not happy with the damp conditions where thinking of boycotting the race,He was leading and pulling away when the race was stopped due to the bad conditions, he was most upset and couldn't see what all the fuss was about

All them Irish make brilliant road racers, hard as Bananarama! the lot if 'em ;)
Remember the exploding rear hub crash that nearly cost Robert Dunlop his life on an RC45?

Michael Dunlops brother (William Dunlop) has been doing well also. In fact during wednesdays race they were both up front! Mind you it does rain alot in ireland so its no wonder they were up front!

The TT is the ultimate bike racing event - it makes British Superbikes look like a Sunday afternoon ride!

Both Dunlop's were doing well, but Michael was riding on another planet, he showed absolutely no fear

He was passing riders like they were going backwards & seemed like he was doing another 50mph plus easy as he passed, irrelevant of straights or corners
