When i pleaded my case at the entry tent, the guys said they liked my car, but some of the hot rodders may complain.
Anyway, in my case its old news, but i'm not driving a 500 mile round trip if I can't take part, so i'll be sitting tight this year.
Long may the Mopar Nats continue to be flexible :thumbright:

How can they dictate what cars can run and still legally call it a RWYB event?

If it is not an open timing event then everyone on the track would need a race licence. :read2:

Thing is they have always let me race!
And I don't Bananarama! about at it I work hard on my car and she is fast for a lump
We have really good time cause it's Simons Phil and crags birthday! cause I can go to rwyb any time but that's not the point the drags follows the nats it's tradition !
And yes there is a rwyb price to race so don't know how they allowed to stop me but I don't want to upset people so unless he says yes
I will have to stay at home

Thats disgraceful Wendy, i thought all of us gas heads enjoyed the variety of cars and our individual tastes so long as they put a smile on your face! Perhaps i'll get a chance to race the 'bird' against you at the nats, just got to wait for 11 months!

Normally I would agree with Dunc, the problem Wendy, is that you have done the decent thing and flagged up the Torino, so the powers that be at the NSRA know the score and that could come back to bite you in the arse...
