Was a great turnout and a great day. The film crew from France's version of Top Gear were there and wanted to do some filming from inside our Charger, as well as filming it as it drove past them on the road. One of them said he wanted to set the camera up in the middle of the road and have me drive towards him so he could film the car as it headed towards him and drove past. He wanted to do the filming standing in the middle of the lane on Scotswood road though

, eventually he settled for standing on the central reservation as I just drove past a couple of times,
Whatever the bug was that was going around Dave, our car caught it by the end of the day and didn't feel well enough to start, the small electronic module in the dizzy had died and needs replacing. We were brought home on a flat bed by the AA in the end.
Thanks to Andy for offering to stay and help. Still had a cracking day though, loved the look on Theo's face when he got out of Andy's car after he took him out in it

Just wanted to add a big thanks to Nige and Andy, not only for bringing their cars along, but also for letting me have a go
Did a lap of the car park in Nige's Charger, and had a ride in the passenger seat of Andy's Roadrunner, I simply couldn't believe how that thing got down the road, it was brutal!
It re-affirmed for me what I already new, which is that I badly badly want one! Anyone catch the lottery numbers?...

Just found this on the Ubisoft FB page, it's the Driver game getting media coverage on French TV and includes some shots of the cars there on the day (static and mobile) and a small clip of a certain Charger being filmed

on Scotswood road in Newcastle.
It is mostly all in French voice over, you can only make out some of what Martin Edmondson is saying. Worth watching just to see the cars, they appear towards the end of the interview.
