fire marshal would have been a good job for mR.RUNNER himself but I heard he was already lined up to go stand on a pile of sticks on the 5th :angryfire: ;) :D

Shame we can't aquire more space (have no idea it costs MMA to display).

Would be great to see 5+ cars! 8-)

Very good question Dave, MMA members themselves finance the stand build up and set up at no cost to the club at all, the club doesn't even pay for the stand space.

Every year, myself and Martin (tyrefryer) set up on the Thursday and do stand manning over the three day shows...while other members volunteer to man the stand and entertain the punters...and stop the Crewe mob from misbehaving...and we all pay our own expenses.

As far as the stand size is concerned, we have in the past managed to squeeze four and five cars in, but this year the Chevy Restoration Enthusiasts had no stand so they had a chunk of ours.

We're nice like that... ;)

Good stuff Ivor!!

You guy's do a crackin job........... :thumbright:

Nice to see we are helping other clubs too!

I remember going 8-9 years ago for the first time and its doubled in size since then......Just surprised they haven't continued, as i'm sure with the Hot Rod scene exploding they could fill part of another hall and give us Yank/imported car owners a bit more space to show whats available outside of Western Europe.......

I'll come along and show me support as i missed it last year for the first time in ages! 8-)

If you man the stand they won't get anyone near it and I think they want the opposite reaction.

Hi Don,

Just waiting for all the tickets and passes to arrive and they will have the times on, it's usually about 11am on the Thursday.

There is a trailer park as well, so as soon as I've got the details, I'll whizz 'em over to you! :thumbright:
