hey jim, might have been a bit old and tatty when you first got that gtx, but it looks well ard, love the american racin mags on it and that sixpak hood

Jim, didn't a real crazy guy called "spud" or something end up with that car? If that is the one, then he got lashed up one night and totalled it, this would have been in the early '80's I think.

Don't think Spud had any thing to do with I've got pic's of it at the docks and it looks the same as when I bought it.As for the Coronet it will look the same at the Nats but next year it will be a Super stock clone White Steels White body Big Block and maybe a Red interior.

Hey Jim!

Looking good, too many tidy 70 RR/GTX's around for my liking. Whats the specs on the motor these days?

Hi Nick the engine in the GTX is basically a stock low compression jenson with an Eddy manifold and a 750 vs Holley with headers that are coming off soon, being replaced by some nice heavy cast manifolds, I know how much you love slow restored cars.

That's a solid looking body there Jim. Can't wait to see it in FK5 - my favourite colour for 1970. I have some photos of your car back in the 80's somewhere - I'll see if I can dig them out.

Looking good Jim, If the engine bay and interior are anything to go by, it will be a cracker when its done.

Is that Paul in the yellow jumper with his arms folded???? Give him some sand paper :lol: :lol:
