Well we gained a bit (couple of 10ths?) on the few times we've run the Dodge at the Pod, with the cut outs opened up, and I've read that others with Max Wedge systems have found gains too.
Maybe cos the way the system's routed - the natural route for the gasses is towards the cutouts, and with them blocked, it has to make an about-turn to get to the back of the car

Because I was running a 3" system I was probably not getting a lot of benefit from cut-outs.
However I did have a noticeable better throttle response and very slightly better launch and 60ft.
Maybe I got lucky and placed my cut outs and H-pipe at optimum positions?

Just buy some Flowmasters.
I know lots of people who did and then ditched them because they were TOO noisy!!!

If you didn't waste money on these sort of toys & spent it on the engine, then your car would make these noises already without cut outs
Then you could spend more money on trying to quieten it down
