Anyone know how Paul got on, with the Coronet?

Pete?

Nice Pic, thanks Rob.

Coronet did not fare too well, with a best of 14:00 dead at 100 mph.
Very disappointing but we have a cunning plan that involves Paul spending lots more money ;)

I see a big Roller Cam on the horizon.....

Thanks Pete :) ..... but that's one of Guy's, pinched from the previous page ;)

Bet that's a disappointment for Paul after all the work that's been done :( but I'm sure Mr Hauser will be happy to provide further help ££££££££££..........

As Mick says, a proper carb and a single plane manifold.....bye bye "Economy" ;) hello performance :thumbright: :thumbright:

Yep, that engine is seriously down on performance by about 150-200hp I reckon. A big motor needs good air flow and that ones strangled in my opinion. Cam has nowhere near enough lift, probably not enough duration, wrong intake and wrong carb. Sort that lot out and it should be an easy 11 second car, you'll be able to start it and it shouldn't get hot either. Why it was specced out the way it is is beyond me, it would have been mild at 440 cubes but at 500 you've got something that produces neither torque nor horsepower.....

Nice pics Guy/Dave.
Who owns the red 70 Road Runner, not seen it before. Is it an air grabber car, can't tell from the pic?

Very cool, but no, not an airgrabber car, Mick.
