i believe you may have your foot switch wired in wrong
or the front end of yours has been subjected to a well meaning but ultimately wrong rewire including some relays
the floor switch wireing is quite hard to do the wrong way round they usually have a modular plastic connector for the wires that goes on 1 way only...
AIR??
do you have aircon?
or electric windows
or air grabber hood?? unlikely you would have a scoop in the hood that popped up to let air in when you pressed this button i think
if you have aircon your switch will have an AIRTEMP logo on it....between the buttons and the heater slider
that's an easy way to discount it as aircon related
