Food looked good to me, variety and price OK.

My only problem was the fair ground in the show and shine. Move it!

All well & good Brian, but try even running at a bike meet, let alone pushing to the front & see how far you get

(ps I used to run my GSX1100ET at bike RWYB events)
Plus of course see how far you get trying to run at a dedicated race meeting on a RWYB basis & you'll reach a similar distance.

Got to say, the Nats was as Ace as ever, only giving my perspective on a single facet of things, I gave up on the RWYB & sat in the stands with everyone else in the end, just wish I hadn't coughed up £25 first, which incidentally is £25 I'd rather hang onto these days, if I wanted to sit in stationary traffic for hours on end, all I'd have to do is join the traffic queue into Newquay along with all the tourists back home for nothing.
Obviously I can appreciate things being busy, & the Pod crew are second to none in getting cars through as quickly & safely as humanly possible, but some of the non- yank RWYB induced hold ups were frustrating to say the least.

The bike thing ,I can understand BUT they stick you at the front and when they see a gap for any reason they get you through, straight to the start line and your gone in 10 seconds or in my case 12 seconds

In the 12's with my old GSX1100, the wearing of bicycle clips was strongly recommended with 140 section rear tyre

Not really a rant, but I always find it frustrating when you have been waiting for an oil down to be cleared up and then SPR put the Jetcar out straight away - a touch insensitive.

Then again, I'm not really the one who should complain about oil downs.

everyone is entitled to an opinion i suppose.....

for me it was as good as usual and i have been for quite a few years now.
i actually like waiting in the fire up lane-you get to chat to people and look at some great cars-nowt wrong with that ,its all part of the weekend at the nats.
the bogs were best i have seen and actually looked forward to laying a cable(well ,pile `o` mash actually sunday morning

)
not fussed who goes up the strip either as long they are enjoying themselves

i say thanks again to all involved.

I know that when they used chaff (however its spelt) to clean up the fluids the jet car was used to blow the left overs off the strip, is this still the case after a clean up?
