You should have gone to shakey yesterday Aidrian.
Although saying that, i didn't end up going myself because i kept taking my brakes to pieces and then needed to realign the front because the spindles were different. got the tyres changed over to another set of wheels with a larger stud pattern but the wheel nuts wouldn't fit, so i turned them down. By the time i'd done all that it was getting late and i didn't want to load the car at night because of the noise, not to mention, it takes me ages unloading all my work stuff and loading all the stuff for the track. So i gave up on the idea of racing saturday, knowing sunday was going to be Bananarama! weather.

I was there Saturday for a few hours and managed four runs. Met up with Dave Hoare and Chris Allen who had gone down in the daily to watch the racing. Car was running a bit lean at the top end but I couldn't be bothered to change jets because it was so cold. Track was pretty slippery, I didn't see them glue it while I was there. My 60 foot times were dire, just couldn't get any grip with street tyres, and the best I managed was a 12.3.
I saw the Dart drive back through the pits but didn't catch any of your runs Cliff. Didn't see any other Mopars at all.

Mick, I changed the intake manifold on Friday so I wasn't sure what jets I needed. Gone back to a dual plane so I thought I might need to jet down. Been running the M1 intake for a year, I know I gave up a lot of torque low down when I fitted it but I was hoping it would be quicker on the track. I sold my Performer RPM to Ade so I had to buy a new one. This time I got the MP version that has Mopar Wedge cast into it, P5153525.

I got to the Pod today but didn't run at all, just went to spanner for JohnS.
Track was as busy as Bananarama!, last time I see that big a queue it was at the Nats!
Some wicked cool cars there, a couple of really tough looking 240Z's , an MC12, some really Bananarama! quick street bikes too.
Freezing cold tho and rain started about 2.30 so we made a quick getaway after that.
The camping fields were still heaving when I got there, must have been a massive crowd for the fireworks
