Welcome Howard, you've come to the right place!
Is it Red, black stripe and chrome wheels........?
Think its the same car that Miles is on about.......Great looking Mopar!
Put the Mopar Nationals in the diary.........Its thee Event of the Year and where you'll find most of the guys in here turn up in droves!
Get a Garage thread/workshop thread going when you have time!

Thanks for the great welcome everyone - I'm so excited by it all right now. Trying to reign myself in a little, don't wanna burn out too soon.
I'm an iPad convert - not sure I can post pics from it ? I'm guessing not. Might have to brave the laptop, which is not good; it bites :0
The car IS the red one with black stripe that was on eBay a few weeks ago. It's so striking looking in the flesh, not sure I was quite prepared for all the attention it's getting. It's great tho, no complaints.
The Mopar Nats are a definite for me; I'm trying to make sure I balance work on the car with the girl actually being available to drive to all the stuff that's attracting me. Don't wanna see her off the road too much, although the more I check the paint, the worse it looks. I know that's a huge expense in waiting tho.
Thanks again for the welcome, looking forward to getting stuck into the forum proper now.

Dont lose that enthusiasm mate... It will get you through everything!
Think most of us want the same..... A rolling restoration...a car you can use and enjoy then just plan in time to do all the bits n pieces as you go along.
Your car sounds like Sams, great colour scheme! Paint and bodywork are the big ones when it comes to cash... I would just use her, enjoy her and as and when funds allow, get her done
Worth reading through the electrical threads etc... A few of us are doing some work on upgrading wiring etc to make our cars more useable/ reliable but you will quickly work out what you want to do etc.
Im guilty of leaning on the experience on here but everyone is happy to help and more to the point, help novices like us to help ourselves. A lot of the stuff on these cars are common sense....when you have it explained. Thats what helps me. Just have a look at Dave81s posts, he researches stuff very thoroughly and then asks advice on filling the holes... good way of doing it.
You will love the shows etc, much more fun when you take a car along! Throws a whole new light on the American car scene when you actually own and experience the noise and smells etc. Great fun!
Cheers Steve

Whats the issue with the wheels Howard, has it been jacked, or smaller rims? Huge offset on those rears, my guess its been jacked to allow for those wheels.
