From the age of eight until I was thirteen I lived in South Raucbey used to love that place.. Went back there when I was fifteen and lived with my Grandparents working on the land until I joined the Royal Navy in 78.....Happy days. :thumbright:

Probaly best to leave it as memories Guy. Raucby soon will be joined to Sleaford by housing. The whole of the old hospital site is now a housing estate.

Im just outside of Lincoln in heighington paul, so only up the road from you.

I see my reputation precededs me R.Runner ;-). 'wrong' year its the wrong car, I was hunting for a superbee, then came across the GTX and it put such a stupid grin on my face on the test drive the Mrs insisted I buy it lol.

Cheers Ashley, great speaking to you the other day, a big thanks for your time and the advice, cant wait to get her up to you and started. Still not sure about the blackouts on the lower pannels though...... Thoughts anyone?

Blackouts?
If it is the real deal then that is one of the things that sets it apart visually.

I would go for it!

Pleasure talking to you Pete :thumbright:
The only problem i can see with the blackouts, is getting hold of all the lower trim's :( not easy i would of thought.

if you want it bad enough ,you have to pay it ,you know that ,trim is a bugger,i bet one of the original ones got bent ,so they threw the rest and filled the holes

good luck with the car ,looks a cracker

She is indeed the real deal Pete, though very low optioned for a GTX, I do have then fender tag, which I really must try harder to decode. Might shed some light on mouldings and side stripes? From what Matt said she left the factory with red stripes?

Thanks Terry, shes certainly turned a few heads when I took her to work today.. Lol, and thanjs for the link to the rrim pieces
