You'll all be pleased to hear that the Camaro will be reborn.
The worst bit was that the top of the battery burnt off and sprayed acid all over the place, including me, while I was trying to put the fire out with a dust sheet that caught alight.
I can laugh about now.....on good days.
Hot melted plastic (fan shroud) attaches to skin very easily and is quite hot in a molten state.
My sister in law works for Essex Fire on the phones. She listened to the call and said that I sounded mildly panicked.
It took hours to clear the garage out of sodden boxes and stuff that got drenched by the fire hose. Amazing how much water those things pump out.
Anyway, the insurance paid out and I'm trying to find time to strip it down and get the paint done.....for the last year. I also have a 2" drop kit and power disc conversion to fit. Luvvly Jubbly.
