Nice link, Ade. There were several Ray Mumford paint jobs at the show these photos were taken at. The French Connection and the black Mustang with the Bullitt film strips down the bonnet were amazing as were the two Buick Rivieras. My box brownie was never going to do them justice back in those days.

I loved the artwork of peoplen like Ray Mumford, Geoff Ridgeway,etc.
Very talented people, some of those early show car murals really stick in your head.
I remember the film scenes on the Frech Connection Stang, the Enforcer Stang was nearly as good.
The cars that really impressed me were the likes of Andromeda, Revenge, the Fad T's were just so wild, paint, motor, upholstery etc

Andromeda is one of my all time favourite cars.
Always thought the door artwork was brilliant.

Ahh Bananarama! it I can't stop now...........page 8 has a really nice white Pinto drag racer that Dunc wiill like, loads of pix on here tho, get a cuppa and regress about 35 years

yep des taylors pinto 351 cleveland and gas my bedroom wall picture loved that car and knowing des built on a very minimal budjet
