A lot of British based models were made for the South African market and fitted with yank v8s. Ford made a Capri ,think it was called Perana, fitted with smallblock Ford. Vauxhall did some with GM v8s naturally.

Here, found out the Vauxhall was badged as a Chevrolet Firenza can am.

I had one of them 20m tornass.nice car .2.3 v6 columb change.sold it on and someone had tried to make it into a gasser..and failed.shame as it wAs solid as a rock..was on ebay not so long back
