The shift kit has other parts not in the valve body, Wil. Like a solid servo or sumfink?

Do shift kits come with a billet rear servo then?, that's a new one on me

Surely that's not included in a shift kit

No, shift kits come with a spacer to fit in the rear servo that effectively makes it solid. You can also get 1 piece billet servo's too. No one seems to be stocking B&M transkits over here these days so I picked up a Trans go one today from Sussex Auto parts, was about ?50 and seems just the same, instructions are nice and clear. It is a messy old job if you're doing it in the car, that transmission fluid dosn't stop dripping from the moment you start till you get the pan back on, you'll get covered in the stuff....

So blue do all shift kits come with the spacer for the rear servo??

If so i'll have to check there's one included in the pre done valve bodies before I commit to stocking them.

These predone bodies are not from TCS and i don't have any information on them yet.

I stock the billet rear servo but that might be a bit of an overkill if the trans only has a shift kit, would it??

All "competition" shift kits come with a spacer Neil, and usually a blocker rod to disable the accuumulator. The mild shift improver kits which just firm things up a little do not. In my opinion the billet servos are overkill unless you are using a manual valve body or a transbrake that run at full line pressure all the time. Shift kits still require the use of the kickdown linkage to vary line pressure according to throttle position.
