that’s interesting about the 6R4, I wonder just how far the guy went to replicate it, itself only in vague looks resembled a standard Metro and only shared 21 original Metro parts, most of the body was GRP, the roof was aluminium, only the doors were steel, so if he’s used an all steel Metro body and applied a 'body kit' it’ll be closer to the original than the Williams Engineering version, interesting engine choice too, infinitely more reliable but won’t quite sound as good as the V6, was it 4 wheel drive do you know??RobTwin wrote:The 6R4 tho, is a replica and has a Honda Civic engine10/10 for effort tho
It looked pretty 'real' at first glance. I didnt see the owner to ask about the spec, nor did I study it enough to see if it was 4wd, sorry 
Only a couple of those rally cars were 'recreations', according to their info boards. The Rover was raced mainly in Scotland in a series up there, but the others had better-known drivers in their history
