I think Dave meant the actual "stickers" rather than the numbers Carl.
As far as I know Dave its up to the individual how you display your member ........sorry number ! :D
Read again Gary.....

Noticed quite a few of the guys on here have also got there MMA numbers in the rear window.......Is this something that they have done themselves, or was it part of an old club merchandise sale?
Dave has his number 081 :P :D

:D...Easy Chaps!

Yes......Wen't off topic and i'm talking about the MMA number in the rear window that a lot of the racers have.

Yes, already have mine.......So for me MMA/081........Just looks cool on the cars i've seen, and wondered if they were an old club issue/sale thread (in relation to standard Font and size).

Also easier to spot MMA members cars at events that are not posted on the board!

Looks like its an individual thing anyway......so will put it on the list!

Dave, Jeff did a load of numbers in vinyl before he went to Canada. I've still got mine waiting tno go on. I doubt the postage would make it worthwhile now.

To be precise i'm actually talking sticky numbers (and letters) on windows!

Got my answer anyway, so cheers chaps!

Thanks Stu, thought it must have been something like that as a few different cars seemed to have the same font and size! :thumbright:

As far as I remember, originally, the idea was to choose/request a number, that Guy would allocate, and give him some info about yourself and the car.
Guy would then make that info available to the commentators at the Pod so they could appear that they knew what they were talking about :)

Good system :thumbright:

It is used by the commentators at Shakey but the powers that be at Santa Pod refuse to use them for some reason  You can still use the number as a signing on number at the Shakey or the Pod though. The idea was that the number stayed with the car so a bit of history could be built up as cars changed hands etc.
