Lovely to look at but I just couldnt kick start her. Spat me off a couple of times and had a week off with a Bananarama! up ankle and sold it. Had a decompression lever thing, just never had the 'knack'. Electric start would have been great!

Should have practiced my kicking on those pigmy dinosaurs!!
Worse thing was, not only was my dream of owning an old jap single off roader shattered but the guy that bought it off me turned up in trainers and fired her up first kick!

Me mates got an 85 CR500 2 stroke on the road. I had it in my garage for a while and could never start the Bananarama!. Me mate would come round. Slowly push the kick start to find top dead and it would start. Every time

Yeah...a real knack! I was told to take it a fraction past as it can spin the wrorg way from TDC and break your ankle!
