I wonder how many of the 525hp it will lose taking the EFI off? But it will still pull that little A bod along pretty quick.

Hoping for more then that will have some major head work. Wild cam and better compression. All stock efi set ups,mainly through managment restrick an engines potential.

but would be interesting to do a swap over on a dyno.......

This particular engine is an early 5.7 so wasnt a massive power motor although still good. Everything will be new from rockers to lifters and stroker kit ect

Looks a very wide motor for an A-bod, but I reckon head design and block hugging headers will be ok?....look much better with a carb or 2 in my view anyway...

Quick update although not much of one....


Originally i was going to get a newTt56 magnum, last week a TR6060 6 speed out of a 2010 Shelby GT500 came my way so will be utilizing this trans.


The main difference between the T56 magnum and the TR6060 is the rear sections and that the magnum is a blueprinted trans which can handle good (more than advertised) power.
But the TR6060 is still in good spec for the power output im hoping for with the gen 3 motor.
