heres a few other street type , none radical 440 builds , from engine guys in the US .
as we all know there are a lot of variables , from one guy building a motor to the next & one dyno to the next & this is crank power , not rear wheel , & we all know proof is in the pudding , as to what MPH you run in the 1/4 vs weight of your car . have a read through the specs & info , lot of interesting reading ,
this might give some ideas , what can be achieved with out going to expencive aftermarket parts . torque is what you want on the street

My motor was almost identical cept for an 850DP so loss of some top end hp over 3x2's....Eddy stage 1 heads were a bit better than my 2.14 906's, but the cam was .100" less lift.....mine made about 485hp to weight and speed. The biggest downside to my set up was not enough CR for that .650" cam, although it all worked well and the numbers on the track were good, my cylinder pressure was non existent me thinks, which is why I could run 38 total N/A or with N20 on 4 star....remember that stuff!!!
Bottom line is, although shown in one of the builds, I can't see your gonna make 450hp with stock 2.08 heads....The heads are crap! and only flow around 210cfm.....I was only at 430hp with the stock 906 heads = 11.23 Hauser heads made 50hp bolt on = 10.7
Les
those were a good set of heads from hauser

.
38 degrees , with 4 star & iron heads crikey , with out pinking / detonating , yes the cam must of had a lot of duration , 650 lift that's a radical cam .
, yes I remember 4star , going off track a bit , I remember when I first got the charger , it was £1.70 a gallon I think , don't even remember them selling it by the litre then

any of the younger members reading this , that was about , 38 pence a litre , YES PENCE , back then .
I remember , just about / sure I do )

the pumps selling 5 star too , just ! I wernt driving then I was a kid in the early 70s .
back on track , I did inquire some years back , to muscle motors in lancing , they supposedly had a cnc program , for the 906 head , they said it would flow enough for 600 horse I think , in a 505ci motor , thought this would be the ideal head , i'm not a fan of ally , for various reasons , , till I saw the price of them , did not want to risk that kind of dough on 45-46 year old castings , I believe they are prone to cracking , , who knows what they will be like , after a few months / years of heat cycles , with that amount of work being done. apparently the CNC program was for , FAST ( factory appearing stock tyre ) class . where those guys are money no object .
