We’re very pleased to tell you that your vehicle has been accepted, and we would like to invite you to park within the Goodwood Motor Circuit where your vehicle will be on display for everyone to appreciate."


So all we need now is a dry forecast....

I'm not surprised they didn't include a pic of ours in that gallery - we got there about 8.15 and had to park way over in the car park that gets used for the fun fair and trader village at the Revival meet We thought leaving home around 6am was early enough...
Mind you, it prob didn't look very photogenic after 100 miles of driving through rain & muddy puddles.

Still, we had a good time tho

Yes, that was my Challenger, I felt obliged to go having been allocated a grid spot. It wasn't looking quite so shiny by the time I got it home though! Managed to "Dodge" the worst of it on the way there but it needed a thorough hose down later at home.

Met and chatted to some great people when sheltering in the pits from those sudden downpours. There was plenty of that positive "Oh its only a few drops of rain" British spirit which is normally reserved for wet Bank Holidays.

What did you make of the variety of cars that got in as 'Vee Power' cars?

With all the fuss they make now about registering to make sure people don't get turned away, who don't comply with the chosen theme, there were a lot of flat engined Porsches & Subarus

Great turn out tho, despite those imposters

Maybe the organisers were worried that their proposal for a 'Flat-plane-crank Power Sunday' wasn't going to bring in much of a crowd.

Loved the eclectic mix of vehicles, though I wonder if a better weather forecast would have shifted the balance more in favour of classics over weather-proof moderns.

Looked like a great day despite the weather, will try to get there sometime.
Love the photos as always Rob, especially the yellow Italian thing, is it an Iso?

I think the yellow Italian in Rob's gallery is an ISO Rivolta (small block Chevy)

Yeah, I can recall it from the Nats a few years back, ran pretty strong from what I remember.
