He should be well pleased all the same, track was not brilliant so he worked wonders, good on him ;)
Yep, doesn't suprise me at all on the 60's, mph will always go up some, track condition can always be a trade off for good air, not easy to get both, still, a good way to end 2014 as Pete says.

I only got one good launch all weekend, just after they glued the track for a blown altered, shame i over revved it in second and nosed the car over as it would have been my best run but it was still a 10.16 at 131.58 with a 1.36 60 ft.

Well you were always up a bit on your 60's Mick, but a 1.36!!!!.....thats 9.8 territory ...nice one though. that would've deffo been a 10.0?....change anything on the car?

I knocked 4 off the extension because i thought the track might not be good, tyres were 14.5 psi. With hindsight i should have dropped the tyres to 13 psi after it started spinning but i just kept adjusting the shocks. Doh !
I knew it was a good launch because it's the first time i could only see the bonnet and not the track. Lol

Yes we all make errors sometimes, thats the BIG mistake I made with the '69 on the same issue but the other way around, hurt my 60's and lost prob a 1/10th+ in ET, but thats water under the bridge now.......1.36 is impressive with SS springs and no brake!!, just goes to show what can be acheived on a good track, but it has to take a big hitter for them to prepare it well though, doesn't matter for the sportsman racer, thats why sanctioned meets are better to run at, you should try it Mick...shouldn't have a prob with Tech?
